Privacy policy
HomeServ Rclone is a private, non-commercial Google Drive synchronisation application operated by an individual for their own Google account and self-hosted server. It is not a public file-sharing service.
Google data accessed
With the owner's permission, the application uses the Google Drive API to access files, folder listings, filenames, file contents and metadata such as identifiers, sizes and modification times. It requires read/write access to support bidirectional synchronisation, including creating, changing and deleting files when the owner configures it to do so.
How the data is used
The Google Drive information is used solely to compare files and synchronise the owner's Google Drive account with storage on the owner's home server. It is not used for advertising, profiling or unrelated purposes.
Storage and security
Synchronised file copies reside on the owner's home server and in their Google Drive account. OAuth tokens and synchronisation state are kept locally in the server's configuration or application data, subject to server access controls. Technical logs may be retained locally for troubleshooting. This public website does not display, store or transmit Google Drive file contents or OAuth credentials.
Sharing of data
HomeServ Rclone does not sell Google user data, distribute it to advertisers or provide it to other users. Data is exchanged with Google's services as required for Google Drive synchronisation. The public information pages are hosted by Cloudflare; the web pages themselves do not receive or process Google Drive data.
Retention and deletion
Files and local synchronisation records remain on the owner's equipment until the owner removes them or synchronisation settings delete them. Deletions may be reflected between the two synchronised locations. Google Drive retains its own data according to the owner's Google settings and Google's applicable policies.
Control and revocation
The owner can stop synchronisation, delete locally stored copies and revoke Google Drive access at any time through Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents future Google Drive API operations by the application unless access is granted again.
Website visitors
These are static information pages. The site owner has not added analytics, tracking scripts, advertising or cookies. The hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to serve the pages under its own policies.
